Yi Lin

Yi Lin, age 30, of West Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN Wednesday April 17, 2024. He was born in Fuzhol, Fujian Province, China September 11, 1993, the son of Pinlin Lin and Xianli Yang and has resided in West Lafayette the past five years. Yi attended Guhuai School in Fuzhol, China and attended St. Mary Cathedral in Lafayette. He was employed as a chef at various restaurants in the West Lafayette and Lafayette area. Surviving with his parents, Pinlin and Xianli of Fuzhol, China are two brothers, Wenfeng Lin (Stephanie) of San Marcos, TX and Pinquan Lin (Wenfang) of West Lafayette, IN along with several aunts and uncles and cousins. Friends may call at St. Mary Cathedral from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Wednesday April 24, Fr. Dennis O’Keeffe officiating.
