William Arthur Prill, 60, of Lafayette, died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center 11:55 AM Friday December 12, 2008 where he had been a patient the past 3 weeks. Born in LaCrosse, WI. June 15, 1948, the son of the late Arthur and Ruth Hanson Prill, he had resided in West Lafayette the past 3 years. He was a graduate of LaCrosse High School, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lafayette, and a member and past commander of American Legion post 492, West Lafayette. Mr. Prill retired from the US Air Force as an information systems technician, having served from August 9, 1966 until his retirement August 31, 1986. Surviving are 3 daughters and 1 son. The remains will be returned to Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN for service and interment.
