W. M. "Mickey" Lannert, 81, of Lafayette, IN. died at Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice in Rock Ledge, FL. Wednesday October 28, 2015. Mickey was born in Decatur, AL June 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Noble and Ruth Wheeler Clardy and was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. She married Anthony Lannert in Lafayette November 11, 1954, and he preceded her in death May 30, 1978. Mickey was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bridge. Before her retirement, she was a real estate agent for ReMax of Lafayette. Surviving are two daughters, Jane Lannert White ( husband Jeff) of Melbourne, FL; Sue Bauer (husband Pat) of Bexley, OH; two sons, Thomas "Tom" Lannert of Chatsworth, CA and Mike Lannert ( wife Nancy) of Lafayette. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Sarah, David (wife Emily), Jenna, Anna, Megan, Michael and Madison along with five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Raymond Clardy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette 10:00 AM Monday November 2, Fr. Tim Alkire officiating, with interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Community Cancer Network, PO Box 4499, Lafayette, IN 47903.
