Theresa Shrives

Theresa Elizabeth Shrives, 64, of Clarks Hill, IN passed away at Franciscan East, St. Elizabeth Medical Center 10:44 AM Sunday June 27, 2021 where she had been a patient for eight days. Theresa was born in Monticello, IN July 17, 1956, the daughter of John Joseph “Joe” Harris, Jr. and the late Betty Ann (Dittman) Harris. She was a graduate of Lafayette Central Catholic High School and was a retired administrative assistant for Schurman-Lange Moving & Storage. Theresa loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her father and step-mother, Joe Harris, Jr and Barbara J. Harris of Lafayette; five daughters, Amber Ingram of Lafayette, Nichole Sherrill (Myles) of Sheridan, IN, Courtnianne Holbrook (Jeremy) of Lafayette, Ann Tillotson of Lafayette and Chelsea Tillotson (Brady Douglas) of Lafayette; two sons, Justin C. Heath (Lasey) of Eldora, IA and Tryemoore Kiger-Yount (Becky) of Merrillville, IN. Also surviving are three brothers, Timothy P. Harris (Jodi) of West Lafayette, IN, Scott T. Harris (Ariane) of Bend, OR and David Curry (Beth) of Zionsville, IN; a sister Kimberly D. Ley (Fred) of Stockwell, IN: a special friend, Donald Godbey of Clarks Hill, IN and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Deborah Harris. A private visitation for family will be held at Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home in Lafayette, with a private service to follow, Fr. Dennis J. O’Keeffe officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lafayette. Friends may best express sympathy with memorial contributions to the Franciscan Health Foundation.
