Rozella Pearson

Rozella Ruth Pearson, 87, of Lafayette, died at Mulberry Health and Retirement Center 4:20 PM Friday January 30, 2015. She was born in Carroll County Indiana near Cutler December 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Lewis and Vera Ward and was a 1945 graduate of Delphi High School. Rozella married Francis Elde Pearson at Delphi February 21, 1946, and he preceded her in death May 14, 1998. She attended Delphi Christian Church and had been employed as an accountant in the animal sciences department at Purdue University from 1957 until her retirement in 1985. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Lee (husband Dennis) of Lafayette, IN; Christina Horn (husband Gerald) of Stillwater, OK; a son, Bruce E. Pearson (wife Mary) of Evansville, IN along with 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Alicia Elliott, a brother, Richard Ward and a sister Juanita Benefiel. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St, Lafayette from 12 PM until the service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, Pastor Bob Duke officiating.
