Ronald Ray Trueblood, 64, of Lafayette, IN. and formerly of Oxford, IN. died at St. Elizabeth East Hospital Sunday December 1, 2013 at 12:44 AM. Ronald was born in Lafayette June 4, 1949, the son of the late John Howard and Joan Margaret Donohue Trueblood. He was a 1967 graduate of Oxford High School and attended Ball State and Purdue Universities and had formerly been employed by Bell Telephone. Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Viet Nam war from 1969 until 1971. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lafayette. Surviving is a brother, David Trueblood (wife Ramona) of Belton, TX.; two sisters, Janet Gross of Lafayette, IN. and Aleesa Stacey of Oxford, IN. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Joan Trueblood. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford from 5 until 8 pm Wednesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Oxford 10:30 AM Thursday. Fr. Robert Klemme officiating, with interment to follow in Oxford Catholic Cemetery.
