Robert James Conner

Robert J. “Rob” Conner, 76, passed away July 16, 2024 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. Rob was born January 6, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert and Margaret Conner. He is survived by one brother, Denny Conner (Carol) of Battle Ground, IN and two sisters, Judy Sharpe of Lafayette, IN and Catherine Jones (Keith) of Hillsboro, IN. There are no other immediate survivors besides the siblings. Rob was raised south of Oxford and graduated from Oxford High School in 1966 and from Purdue University in 1973. He worked as a computer programmer for Intel and American Express in the Phoenix area. Rob married Shirley Williams from Boswell, IN in January 1971 and they later divorced. Graveside services will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette Monday August 19 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Keith Jones officiating.
