Richard Patrick Flanagan, 76, of Battle Ground, died at his residence 3:45 AM Friday October 17, 2008. Mr. Flanagan had been ill since June 2008. Born in Philadelphia, PA., April 29, 1932, the son of the late John and Rita Marx Flanagan, he had resided in Tippecanoe County since 1982. He married Donna Marie Anderson at Lewisburg, PA. April 30, 1970, and she survives. Mr. Flanagan was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, retired from the Lafayette Diocese in Indiana and served in the Coast Guard from 1949 until 1953.Surviving with his wife are 5 daughters, Linda Neiswender of Littlestown, PA.; Diana McWilliams (husband Art) of Philadelphia, PA.; Janet Flanagan of Fresno, CA.; Connie Bryan (husband Ron) of South Bend, IN.; Faith Campbell of Bloomington, IN.; a son, Michael Flanagan (wife Lori) of Fresno, Ca. and a sister, Patricia Turowski (husband Joe) of Philadelphia, PA. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME 1104 Columbia St. from 5 until the Rosary at 8 PM Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Boniface Catholic Church 10:00 AM Tuesday Msgr. Robert L. Sell, III officiating. Interment Pretty Prarie Cemetery. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Preceded indeath by a son, Ricky Flanagan.
