Rex Johnson, Sr

Rex Edward Johnson, Sr. 64, of Burlington, IN. died in his residence unexpectedly on Friday October 26, 2012. Rex was born in Sheridan, IN. January 23, 1948, the son of the late James Elmer and Hazel Dekert Johnson, and was a graduate of Sheridan, IN. High School.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a retired employee of J. I. Case in Bettendorff, Iowa.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Ginny Renfrow (husband Gary) of Attica, IN.; Autumn Karras of Morrison, IL. and a son, Rex E. Johnson, II of Lafayette, IN.; a sister, Ida Mae Price of Tennessee any by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Verlin James Johnson and by a sister, Leona M. Ford.
