Rebecca Weaver

Rebecca Jane Weaver, 82, of Linden, died at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, IN. at 2:56 AM Sunday June 20, 2010 from
complications brought on by cancer. The daughter of the late Floyd and Evangeline Morrow Fraley, Mrs.
Weaver was born in Montgomery County, Indiana, May 10, 1928. She was a long time area resident,
and attended Linden, IN. schools and Purdue University where she became a life time member of
Alpha Chi Omega. She married Joseph Aaron Weaver in the Linden Methodist Church November 6,
1949,and he survives. Mr. Weaver's work took them to Cincinnati, Houston and Oklahoma City where Mrs. Weaver
was a homemaker. After Mr. Weaver's retirement, the family returned to Linden where Mrs.
Weaver was very active in the Linden United Methodist Church. She was a member of the choir for
20 years and served on numerous committees. Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Martha Jo Weaver of Linden,
IN. Preceding her in death was son Bruce Fraley Weaver. Also surviving is her daughter-in-law, Kathy Weaver of Oklahoma CIty, OK. Friends may
call at the Linden United Methodist Church from 4 until 8 PM on
Wednesday. Funeral services 10:30 AM Thursday, Associate Pastor Patty French and Pastor Lamont
Bonath officiating, with interment to follow at Linden Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials may be
