Phyllis Shoaf

Phyllis Jean Shoaf, 92, of Lafayette, passed away at Digby Place in Lafayette Wednesday morning, July 14, 2021. She was born in Warren County, IN August 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Albert and Lucy (May) Medley and was a graduate of Hammond Technical Vocational School in Hammond, IN. Phyllis married William L. Shoaf in Lafayette February 5, 1947 and he preceded her in death September 23, 1997. Surviving are two daughters, Linda K. Lehnen (John) of Rossville, IN; Debbie L. Woolf of West Point, IN and a son, Robert D. “Bob” Shoaf (Kimberly) of Lafayette. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary L. Shoaf, two grandchildren, Craig A. Lehnen and Andrew J. Shoaf; a sister, Wilma Patterson and a brother, Bill Medley. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Lafayette, Celebrant Dennis Horn officiating. The interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
