Peggy Fyffe

Peggy A. Fyffe, 81, of rural Crawfordsville, IN. died at her residence 2:20 AM Monday Sept. 14, 2015. Peggy was born in New Richmond, IN June 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Monroe C. and Ruby Todd Lyon and was a graduate of New Richmond High School and from beauty college in Indianapolis. She married Robert M. Fyffe in New Richmond, IN. June 6, 1953 and he preceded her in death October 6, 1999. Peggy was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening and had a 'green thumb". Peggy was a homemaker, and had formerly operated a beauty salon from her residence. She was a 50 year member of the New Richmond Order of Eastern Star, a member of the Tippewa Spinners, a former Brownie leader and former member of the Round Hill Aid. Surviving are three daughters, Marla Taylor (husband William) of Crawfordsville, IN; Marcia Bailey (husband Randy) of Waveland, IN; Marta Fyffe- Carlile (husband Lindsay) of Crawfordsville, IN; and by three sons, Mark Fyffe (wife Dana) of Crawfordsville, IN; Marion Fyffe of Crawfordsville, IN and Marshall Fyffe of New Richmond, IN. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson and a granddaughter. Friends my call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden from 4 until 7 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden 10:30 AM Thursday, Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North in Crawfordsville. If friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
