Paul Nix

Paul Vincent Nix, 64, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday October 10, 2021 peacefully in his sleep after a short battle with cancer. Paul was born July 4, 1957 in Kokomo, IN, the son of the late Thomas G. and Rosemary L. (Haxton) Nix. He was a 1975 graduate of Kokomo High School and attended Purdue University, West Lafayette. Paul was a lifelong Catholic and was recently attending St. Ann’s Church in Lafayette. Professionally, he was a self-employed carpenter. Surviving are three brothers, Karl J. Nix (Mary Jo) of Baton Rouge, LA; Leo C. Nix of Lafayette, IN and Kurt T. Nix (Jill) of Kokomo, IN; two sisters, Loretta M. Walker (Chuck) of Kokomo, IN and Madonna D. Nix, also of Kokomo, IN. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1212 South St., Lafayette from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Friday October 15, Fr. Anthony Rowland officiating.
