Paul Goff

Paul Ray Goff, 83, of New Richmond, Indiana, died at his residence Friday October 31, 2008. Born December 5, 1924 at Elmdale, Indiana the son of the late Leverett Earl and Twila Louise Wright Goff, he was a graduate of Wingate High School. He married Lois Marie Miles at New Richmond October 31, 1948, and she preceded him in death November 3, 2001. Mr. Goff worked as a livestock trucker, welder and blacksmith, and also owned a bulldozing business. He served in the US Army, World War II, and was a member of the American Legion in New Richmond, now a part of American Legion Post 72 in Crawfordsville. Surviving are 2 daughters, Paula A. Goff of Delphi, IN.; Janet M. Shoaf of Wingate, IN.; 2 sons, Daniel L. Goff (wife Martha J.) of Crawfordsville, IN. and Alan Goff, (wife Michelle) of Crawfordsville, and a sister, Betty Binford of Linden, IN.
Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, Linden, from 5 until 8 PM Tuesday. Funeral services at HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME 10:30 AM Wednesday, Pastor Allen Sparks officiating. Interment, New Richmond Cemetery with American Legion Post 72 military rites. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother, Amos Goff.
