Patsy Darlene Lane

It is with great sadness that the family of Patsy Darlene Lane announce her passing. Patsy passed on September 29th, 2024 at the age of 82 after a long and arduous battle with cancer. She was born to Luther and Beatrice (Powers) Crouch in Fowler, Indiana October 31st,1941. The family moved to Delphi where Patsy attended Delphi high school. 

 Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Orville R. “Hoss” Lane on September 11th, 2006. Orville and Patsy were married on July 15th,1966. Patsy became a widow after 40 wonderful years of marriage due to injuries Orville sustained in a motorcycle accident. She is also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Lee Sears. 

 Patsy was a homemaker and mother. She was also an avid equestrian and bred dalmatian dogs. From riding contests of endurance to driving a team of haflingers, Patsy was one of a kind. She was an animal lover and a wonderful lady whom we will miss greatly. 

 Patsy is survived by her daughter Roxann (Steve) Hudson, granddaughter Ashley (Dustin) Porter, great grandson Bodi, Son Danny (Mary) Sears, and by Bobby’s children, granddaughter Britny Sears, and grandsons Bobby Sears and Brady (Kira) Sears and their children. 

 Services for Patsy will be held Saturday, October 5th at 3:00 PM in the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home at 321 E South Street, Linden, IN 47955. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-3PM. The interment will be in Linden Cemetery. Donations may be made on behalf of Patsy Lane to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, Indiana.
