Patrick Heazeltine

Patrick Michael Heazeltine, 52, of Battle Creek, Michigan and formerly of Lafayette, died in Battle Creek Tuesday evening February 2, 2010 where he had resided for the past year. Born in Terre Haute, Indiana November 19, 1957, the son of Ruth Stableton Heazeltine and the late William Michael Heazeltine, he was a graduate of McCutcheon High School in Lafayette. He married Jennifer Martin in Las Vegas, Nevada in June, 1996, and they later divorced. Mr. Heazeltine was a veteran of the Marine Corps, serving from 1979 until 1982. He was most recently employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Battle Creek, and while living in Lafayette, was employed as a carpenter. Surviving is a daughter, Elizabeth Sheese of West Lafayette, IN.; his mother, Ruth Heazeltine of West Lafayette, IN.; 2 brothers, Dan Heazeltine (wife Melinda) of West Lafayette, IN.; Andrew Heazeltine of Lafayette, IN. and a sister, Cathy Kramer of Muscatine, Iowa. Also surviving is a grandson, Chase Sheese. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 5 until the service at 7:00 P.M. Friday, Fr. Dan Gartland officiating.
