Patricia Beck

Patricia Aline Beck, 77, died Tuesday March 30, 2010 at Rosewalk Village. She had formerly resided at Friendship House for many years. She was born August 18, 1932 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and lived in Ohio while a nun, and then resided in Indiana until her death. Miss beck was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Florence Neely Beck and Alvin Beck, brother James White, sister Nell Sullivan, 2 other brothers and 2 other sisters, and friend Irene Cooley. Survivors include a sister-in-law Bobbie White of Mize, Mississippi, adopted brother Alvin Beck of Brandon, Mississippi adopted sister Ann Beck of Brandon, Mississippi, many special nieces and nephews and many good friends.
She was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church in 1953, and later became a sister of St. Joseph of the Third Order until leaving the order in 1975. She completed the school of practical nursing in 1954.
