Millie Chapman

Millie Ann Chapman, 57, of Romney, IN. died at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette 8:45 Am Tuesday December 9, 2014 as a result of an injury after a fall. Millie was born in Danville, IL March 15, 1957, the daughter of the late Thomas and Beverly Wilken Herriott and was a 1976 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. She married Gary L. Chapman in Lafayette December 22, 1979, and he survives. Millie had formerly been employed at Purdue University and the Bob Rohrman Auto Group. She was a member of the Romney United Methodist Church; enjoyed reading, crocheting and gardening. Millie was a devoted wife and mother and especially enjoyed being a grandmother. Surviving beside her husband is a daughter, Maggie E. Chapman of Lafayette, a brother, Randy Herriott (Penny) of Fowler, IN; two sisters, Violet Hughes (Ron) of Tucson, AZ; Sharri Herriott of Evansville, IN; and best friend Stacy Neal of West Lafayette, IN; and grandson, Wade Sipple. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rick and Tom Herriott, Jr. and parents-in-law, John and Thelma Chapman.
