Mildred Tillotson

Martha B. Tillotson,, 92, of Oxford, IN. died at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette Monday Nov. 2, 2015 at 12:30 AM. She had been a resident of Green Hill Manor in Fowler since January. Martha was born in Bismiark, IL November 4, 1922, the daughter of the late George and Arvilla Esther Schwartz Breeding and attended Milford, IL schools. She married Clifford W. Tillotson at Danville, IL December 31, 1955, and he preceded her in death May 28, 2005. Martha had been employed at various factories and canneries in the Milford and Watseka, IL areas and in Goodland, IN. Surviving is a granddaughter, Melissa Meneely of Chicago, IL; two great-grandchildren, Richard and Sarah Meneely of Chicago; a sister-in-law, Jean Breeding of Rantoul, IL; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Griffith of San Antonio, TX; and by special friends, Gil and Benita Smith, Retha Bruner, Jovita and DeAnne Smith and Joe and Glenda Morris, all of Oxford. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Griffith; two brothers, Ronald "Pete" and Donald "Bud" Breeding. A graveside service will be held at the Floral Hill Cemetery, Hoopeston, IL Friday Nov. 6, 11:00 AM EST, Larry McMillan officiating. Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford, IN is caring for the family.
