Mildred Myers

Mildred Marie Myers, 95, of Ambia, IN. died at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital in Williamsport, IN. 10:25 AM Sunday November 1, 2015. Mildred was born in Kleinfeltersville, PA February 17, 1920, the daughter of the late Jacob and Phoebe Bergman Walters. She married Floyd L. Myers in Chicago, IL June 1, 1946 and he preceded her in death January 2003. Mildred was a homemaker and a pastor's wife over 40 years, and had worked for the US Postal Service for almost 20 years. Surviving are four daughters, Dawn Judith Myers of Evansville, IN; Gloria Rae Phillips (husband Dean) of Knox, IN; Faith Phoebe Moody (husband Ron) of Daleville, IN; Hope Debbie Meece (husband David) of Ambia, IN; a son, Daniel Wesley Myers of DeKalb, IL; a brother, Earl Walters of Lebanon, PA; and a sister Betty Seager (husband John of Lebanon, PA. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth M. Myers; a brother, Richard Walters and two sisters, Anna Mae Sattazahn and Berniece Auchenbach. Friends may call at the Tri-County Baptist Church in Ambia from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Thursday Nov. 5, Pastors David and Daniel Meece officiating, with interment to follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN.
