Mary Robinson

Mary Jacqueline “Jackie” Robinson, 89, of Oxford, IN passed away at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette 10:13 PM Sunday December 27, 2020. She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia December 21, 1931, the daughter of the late Paul M. and Margaret A. (Kelley) Hull and was a 1949 graduate of West Lafayette High School. Jackie married Donald E. Robinson in West Lafayette February 18, 1950 and he preceded her in death July 9, 2004. She was a homemaker and had served as a librarian for the Oxford Public Library. Jackie was a member of Oxford Federated Church, a member of Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority, Zeta Chapter, and a former member of the Oxford Town Board. She enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia A. Estes of Fowler, IN; two sons, Michael A. Robinson (wife Diane) of Brazil, IN and Jeffrey C. Robinson (wife Peggy) of Dallas, TX along with six grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Wednesday December 30, Pastor Laureen Hartig officiating. Interment will follow in Justus Cemetery in Oxford. Due to Covid-19, the wearing of masks is required and social distancing practiced.
