Mary Hamm

Mary M. Hamm, 95, of Mooresville, IN. and formerly of Romney, IN. died at Meadow Lakes Healthcare Center in Mooresville, IN. Thursday April 17, 2014 at 6:00 AM where she had resided the past three years. Mary was born in Tippecanoe County, near Romney December 27, 1918, the daughter of the late Walter and Ivis Dunbar Martin. She married Marion E. Hamm in Lafayette, IN. November 2, 1941 and he preceded her in death April 4, 1997. Mary was a graduate of Romney High School, and a member of the Romney United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Order of Easter Star at Romney and the Romney Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She was a homemaker, and had been the head of the cafeteria at Southwestern Middle School for 25 years before retiring in 1990. Surviving is a son, Robert Hamm (wife Diane) of Mooresville, IN. and by two granddaughters, Kim Saldivar of Fishers, IN. and Amanda Dann of Carmel, IN. Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Todd. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden from 1:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM Saturday, Rev. Dr. R.
