Mary Agnes Muller Gee, 87, formerly of Boswell and Oxford, IN. died at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital in Lafayette Tuesday Nov. 2, 2010 at 11:05 P.M. She had been a resident of Heritage Helathcare in West Lafayette the past 5 years. She was born in Benton County, IN. November 21, 1922 the daughter of the late William A. and Mary Frances Cheek Gretencord and was a graduate of Freeland Park High School. Her first marriage was to Sylvester B. "Wes" Muller at Dunnington, IN. June 11, 1941, and he died August 24, 1967. She then married Gordon G. Gee at Oxford, IN. October 25, 1975, and he preceded her in death March 13, 2003. Mrs. Gee was a former administrator at the Benton County Home, and had worked as a night cook at Fixes Restaurant in Boswell, as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Oxford, and enjoyed crocheting, playing dominos and euchre with her friends and family. Surviving are 12 children, Ken Muller (wife Marcia) of Indianapolis, IN.; Darlene Bowers (husband Duane) of New Mexico; Jane Nielson (husband John) of Vermont; Mary Jo Bice (husband Sherman) of Oxford, IN.; Marjorie Muller of Kentucky; Thomas Muller of Boswell, IN.; Ed Muller (wife Pat) of Lafayette, IN.; Mike Muller (wife Vickie) of Lafayette, IN.; Ron Muller (wife Gail) of West Lafayette, IN.; Helen Center (husband Dave) of Boswell, IN.; Jerry Muller (wife Sue) of Oxford, IN.; and Tim Muller (fiancAC. Chris Daulton) of Greenwood, IN.; step-children, Bruce Gee (wife Judy) of Covington, IN.; Ruthie Gee Coffing of Covington, IN.; Robert Gee (wife Karen) of Covington, IN.; Donald Gee (wife Carol) of Zephyrhills, FL.and Wanda Gee Taylor(husband Ray) of Covington, IN.; 3 brothers, L. Frank Gretencord of West Lafayette, IN.; James E. Gretencord of Fowler, IN.; William E. Gretencord of Fowler, IN.; and a sister,Catherine A. Leuck of Boswell, IN. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren, 37 step-great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Patrick Lee Muller, a brother Robert W. Gretencord, a sister Ruth E. Friks; a stepson, Kenneth Gee and a step-grand-daughter, Penny Ratcliff. Mary Agnes dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call at St. Patrick's Church in Oxford from the Rosary at 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Friday, Fr. Robert Klemme and Fr. Donald Gross officiating. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Dunnington. If friends desire, memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church Building Fund.
