Marjorie Lois Dragt entered the loving arms of Jesus at 9:07pm on December 16, 2020. Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Herman H Dragt and her eldest daughter Cynthia K Anderson. Marge loved Jesus and spread His love to everyone she met through her humble and quiet witness. Marge loved her family and spent many hours looking at pictures scrolling on her computer screen and talking about the pictures to whoever was with her. She also loved her church family at Pine Village United Methodist Church and has greatly missed getting to attend church and fellowship with them over these past nine months. Marge enjoyed playing BINGO and visiting with the folks at the Senior Center in Williamsport, Indiana. You could often find Marge reading her Bible at the kitchen counter or with her nose in a good Guideposts mystery novel. Marge spent her working years as a secretary in various locations as she lived in several places as a minister’s wife. Marge and Herm loved to travel and passed that love on to their children by taking them on camping trips to many state and national parks while growing up, and they continued traveling in their retirement of 30 years.
Marge will be missed by her children: Bill Dragt of Hines, Oregon; Larry Dragt (Cindy) of Oakwood Hills, Illinois; John Dragt of Thornville, Ohio; Judi Talbert (Steve) of Pine Village, Indiana; Jack Anderson (Meghan Collins) of Pine Village, Indiana.
Grandma and great grandma will be missed by her grandchildren: Ian Anderson (Krista, Ian and Ivy), Amber Anderson, Adam Dragt (Katie), Aaron Talbert (Olivia), Alex Dragt, Levi Talbert (Katie), Jacob Dragt and Ruby Anderson.
