Maria de los Angeles Pacheco Hernandez, 44, of Lafayette, died at Franciscan Health, St. Elizabeth Central 3:17 PM Sunday February 13, 2011 where she had been a patient for the past 3 months. She was born in Michoacan, Mexico September 23, 1966, the daughter of Trancito Pacheco and the late Salud Hernandez. Maria married Salvador Ceja at El Monte, California April 6, 1985 and he survives. Mrs. Pacheco Hernandez was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Christian Family Movement, the Hispanic Prayer Group, and the Hispanic Council at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving beside her husband are 2 daughters, Laura Angelica Ceja and Aracely Ceja, both at home; 7 sons, Salvador Ceja, Jr. of Greencastle, IN.; William Ceja Pacheco, stationed with the US Army in Afganistan; Eric, Noel, Michael Anguel, Isaac Samuel, and Timoteo Joel Ceja Pacheco, all of the home; 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Esmeralda Rosalani Ceja. Friends may call at St. Boniface Catholic Church after 5 PM Wednesday, with Rosary service at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday, Frs. Tim Alkire, Jeff Martin, Gustavo Lopez and Deacons Ron Nevinger and Jose Munoz concelebrating. Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery.
