Margaret Boze

Margaret E. Boze, 73, of Delphi, formerly of Lafayette, passed away at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette 9:10 PM Tuesday February 28, 2023. She was born in Lafayette March 6, 1949, the daughter of the late Dale B and Eldora M. (Clawson) Miller. Her marriage was to Robert D. Boze in Lafayette December 21, 1990 and he preceded her in death November 11, 2005. Margaret was a graduate of Oxford, IN High School, a 1973 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette and received her B. S. in nursing from Purdue University in 1980. She spent her career as a registered nurse in hospitals, nursing homes and doctor’s offices, and was last employed as an inspector of nursing homes for the State of Indiana. Margaret was a member of the Lafayette Business Women’s Association and was named Woman of the Year in 1990. She was a member of Smiles Unlimited Clown Ministry and in her youth was active in 4-H. Surviving are special cousins, John (Marsha) Stoner of Delphi and special friends, Darrell and Cindy Merkle of Maggie Valley, TN. Margaret desired no services, with entombment in Oxford West Cemetery Mausoleum in Oxford, IN. Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home is honored to serve the Boze family.
