Madonna Josephine Misner, 99, of Buck Creek, IN passed away at Franciscan East Hospital in Lafayette the evening of Friday February 7, 2025. She had been residing at Aster Place in Lafayette the past year. Born March 25, 1925 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cecelia Hatke DeBoy. She married was to Robert E. Misner in Angola, Indiana on April 5, 1952. He preceded her in death April 5, 2003. Madonna was a farm wife and homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of their farm. She attended Monitor School and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Surviving are two nieces, Linda (Kevin) Walters of Lafayette, Darlene DeBoy of Lafayette; two nephews, Alan (Judi) DeBoy of Greenwood, IN and Dean (Alison) DeBoy of Lafayette along with several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene (Pat) DeBoy.
Friends and family may call from10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM Tuesday February 18 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fr. Richard Weisenberger officiating. The interment will be in North Union Cemetery near Buck Creek. If friends and family desire, memorials may be made to the Buck Creek Firemen’s Association.
