Lucreta Mcnulty

Lucreta M. McNulty, 76, of Lafayette, died at Indiana University Medical Center Sunday Sept. 13, 2009. She had been in ill health since August. Born in Waveland, IN. February 27, 1933, the daughter of Floyd L. and Mary Jane Miles Hester, she was a graduate of Waveland High School. She married John Paul McNulty at South Bend, IN. February 22, 1953, and he preceded her in death December 24, 2005. Mrs. McNulty had worked at Wabash Valley hospital as a psychiatric attendant for many years before her retirement. She was a member of East Tipp Baptist Church, and the Wayne Extension Homemakers Club. Mrs. McNulty enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cooking and working crossword puzzles. Surviving are 4 daughters, Bobbi Bunch of Lafayette, IN.; Susan Shaw (husband Ron) of West Point, IN.; Christi Brooks (huband Dennis) of Lafayette, IN. and Lori Wilson (husband Carl) of Beggs, OK. ; a sister, Patricia Hester of LaCoste, TX.; and a brother, Robert Dale Hester (wife Melrose) of Castroville, TX. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Wilson and a sister, Mona Lee Myers. Lucreta is now at home with the Lord.
