Loretta K. Zink, age 78, of Oxford, IN. died at Indiana University Health, Lafayette 12:58 AM Tuesday March 29, 2011. She had been a patient at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette the past 2 years. She was born in Pine Township, Benton County, IN. February 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Halsema Zink, and was a 1951 graduate of Pine Township High School. Miss Zink was employed by Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in the Fowler office for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Oxford; enjoyed sewing and performing alterations, gardening, baking and was an avid reader. Surviving is a sister, Ruth Pluimer of Oxford, IN.; 2 brothers Ron Zink of West Point, IN. and Charles Zink of Elwood, IN. Also surviving are 22 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois McIntyre. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, Oxford from the Rosary at 4:45 until 7:00 PM Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Oxford, Fr. Robert Klemme officiating, with interment in Oxford Catholic Cemetery.
