Lloyd H."Pat" Patterson, 89, of Romney, Indiana, died at Regency Place in Lafayette 8:45 AM Wednesday July 8, 2009. Born in Odell, IN. May 19, 1920 the son of the late George and Bettie Burnett Patterson, he was a graduate of Jackson Township School. He and his wife, Virginia "Ginny" were married in Lafayette, IN. September 19, 1942, and she survives. Mr. and Mrs. Patterson owned and operated Patterson's Radio and T.V. in Linden for 25 years, and later owned and operated Patterson's Hardware in Romney for another 25 years. He was a member of the Romney United Methodist Church; a 50 year member of the Romney Masonic Lodge, now the New Richmond Masonic Lodge # 604; a member of the Romney Lions Club and a former member of the Randolph Township Fire Department. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Kimberly J. (husband Jonathan) Holden II of Indianapolis. Also surviving is a grandson, David Patrick-Lloyd Holden. Preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, Linden from 3 until 5 PM Sunday, with New Richmond Masonic Lodge service at 4:30 PM . Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Romney, 10:00 AM Monday, Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating.
