Lester Casey

Lester G. Casey, 93 of Lafayette, died at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette 3:16 P.M. Saturday November 14, 2009 where he had been a patient since June 2008. Born in Muncie, Indiana October 27, 1916, the son of Willard E. and H. Pearl Harris Casey, he was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. He married Georgianna M. McLain at Meridian, Mississippi February 5, 1943, and she preceded him in death January 13, 1999. Mr. Casey served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II, and had worked for the Nehi Bottling Company for 40 years, and later was warehouse manager for Deckers Office Supply 20 years, retiring in 1990. Surviving are 3 sons, George Patrick Casey of Lafayette, IN.; Willard "Bill"Casey (wife Linda) of West Lafayette, IN.; John A. Casey (wife Kim) of Fishers, IN.; 3 daughters, Jean Ann Glotzbach (husband Keith) of Fowler, IN.; Nancy J. Siple (husband Michael) of Lafayette, IN.; and Margaret "Peggy" Warren (husband Keith) of Lenexa, Kansas. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 grandsons and 2 brothers, Willard and John E. Casey. Friends may call at St. Mary's Cathedral from 9:30 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Fr.
