Lela K. Tagg, 70, of Oxford, IN. died at Regency Place at Greenfield, IN. Thursday April 29, 2010 where she had been a patient since February. Born July 29, 1939 in Benton County, IN. the daughter of the late Ralph and Louise Goddard Cyr, she graduated from Fowler High School. She married Jack Ray Tagg in Oxford June 8, 1958, and he preceded her in death April 23, 1989. A homemaker, Mrs. Tagg was a member of the Oxford Federated Church, and enjoyed reading, watching television and gardening. Surviving is a daughter, Cheryl Askvig (husband Dave) of Clarion, Iowa; 2 sons, Kenneth Tagg (wife Sherrie) of Webster City, Iowa and Ronald Tagg of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; and 2 sisters, Sandy Hull of Oxford, IN. and Pat Parlon (husband Tom) of Bokeelia, Florida. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Klaver. Graveside services will be held at Oxford West Cemetery, Tuesday May 11, 11:00 AM, Rev. Priscilla Bazler officiating.
