Kristopher D. Elston, 29, of Lafayette, passed away at IU Arnett Hospital Saturday October 1, 2016. Kristopher was born in Lafayette October 20, 1986, the son of Dane C. and Lora J Griswold Elston. He was raised in Battle Ground and graduated from Harrison High School. Kris had worked for Local 274 Labor’s Union for the past year. He enjoyed spending time with his family and caring for his daughter, Kloe Rose, fishing and camping, bon fires and being outdoors. He leaves behind his daughter, Kloe Elston; his parents, Dane and Lora Elston; a sister, Kerri A. Bixler (Justin) of Lafayette; maternal grandparents, John & Dorothy Griswold of Lafayette; paternal grandparents Arthur & Patricia Elston of Zionsville and Merle and Pamela Peterson of Monticello, IN. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. May God love and protect until we are together once again. We love you, Kristopher.
