Juan A. Patlan, Jr., 50, of Lafayette, father, brother, uncle, lover of life, hard worker, passion for cooking, being outdoors handy man of maintenance and traveler, passed away at 3:17 PM Wednesday January 12, 2022. He was surrounded by family who loved him most in the world. Jr. was always the life of the party. He loved his family, friends and community. Jr. was always looking for ways to help where and however he could. He loved working with his hands and feeding his friends and family. For those that have ever knew Jr., knew and loved him. Our hearts are broken. Jr. loved and lived his life every single day. He put so much light into the world it radiated off of him when he entered a room. He will live on through the hearts and actions of those he left behind. Our memories of him will be cherished. He was born in Laredo, TX January 2, 1972, the son of the late Juan A. and Betty S. (Swartz) Patlan, Sr. and attended high school in Streator, IL. He was employed as a maintenance technician for Titan Management the past 5 years. Surviving are two sons, Blake A. Patlan of Lafayette, IN; Codi J. Patlan of Cape Coral, FL; three brothers, Norberto and Jose Patlan of Logansport, IN; Guillermo Patlan of Milford, IL; two sisters, Jessica Henrichs (Lucas) of Fairbury, IL and Tonya Patlan of Gilman, IL along with his fiancé, Crystal Weigle of Lafayette.
