Joyce Mcafee

Joyce Lee McAfee, 71, of Oxford died 1:21am, Friday, March 4, 2016 at I. U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. She was born September 23, 1944 in rural Claiborne County near Tazewell, TN. On January 9, 1964 she married Kyle McAfee in Tazewell, TN, he preceded her January 1, 2013. She owned & operated Little Rascals Daycare for 20+ years. She was a member of Talbot Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, Tom McAfee of Oxford, a daughter, Dewanna Lank (husband: Gary) of West Lafayette and her sister, Lucille Hill of Talbot, IN. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Mindy Hanley (husband: Phil) & Wayne Lank (wife: Shanna), 2 great grandchildren, Austin Hanley & Aleah Lank.
Friends may call from 4-7pm Monday at Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford. Service 10am Tuesday at Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Whitehead & Larry McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in Justus Cemetery, Oxford. Memorial may be made to: Talbot Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents & 2 sisters.
