Joseph D. Bramer

Joseph D. Bramer, 61, of Lafayette, passed away at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette 11:30 PM Monday April 22, 2024 where he had been a patient since Saturday. Joseph was born in Lafayette November 5, 1962, the son of Richard Dale Bramer and the late Judith Lee (Starrett) Bramer. He attended St. Boniface Grade School,  was a 1980 graduate of Lafayette Central Catholic High School and received an Associates Degree from IVY Tech in automotive mechanics in 1983. Joseph was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He formerly was employed at Peerless Wire, and currently was employed as a custodian at McCutcheon Residence Hall at Purdue University for over 20 years. Surviving is his father, Richard Dale Bramer of Lafayette, a sister, Nancy Black (David) of Lafayette, a brother, Jerry Bramer (Djuana) of Lafayette, four nephews, J.D. Bramer, Chadd McIntyre, Barry & Shawn Black, a niece Crystal Light and by 14 great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM Friday April 26, Fr. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Rest Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church.
