John Weaver

John R. Weaver, 80, of Oxford, IN. died at the Ibdiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette, IN. 8:40 PM Thursday June 21, 2012 where he had resided since 2009.
John was born in Oxford, IN. July 18, 1931, the son of the late Henry and Edna Hoggard Weaver and was a graduate of Oxford High School and attended Purdue University.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and had attended Oxford Church of Christ.
John was employed as a computer operator with Eli Lilly and Co., retiring in 1986.
Surviving are 2 sisters-in-law, Karen and Betty Weaver, both of West Lafayette, IN.; 2 nephews; 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew. He was preceded in death by a sister Amy Dalka; and 4 brothers, Don, Larry, Dick and Earl Weaver.
Graveside services will be held at the Justus Cemetery in Oxford, 10:30 AM Friday, Larry McMillan officiating. If friends desire, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
