Jerry Kahle

Jerry J. Kahle, 72, of Crawfordsville, formerly of Linden, IN. died at St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville 8:45 AM Sunday November 30, 2008. He had been a patient there for the past 2 days and in ill health the past month. Born December 24, 1935 in Romney, IN. to the late Clarence "Dutch" and Elizabeth "Beth" Harrison, he was a 1954 graduate of Linden High School. He married Donna L. Todd at Linden, IN. March 4, 1955, and she survives. Mr. Kahle worked for TipMont REMC from 1954 until 1996 as a lineman and later in the warehouse. He was a member of St. Paul Community Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving with his wife are 3 daughters, Terri J. Carpenter (husband Ken), Brenda K. Horn (husband John) and Julia A. Sims (husband Doug) all of Crawfordsville, IN. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Alyson Sarll (husband Joe); Courtney Carpenter; Shannon Wark; Jeremy Horn (wife Casey); Ashley Thompson (husband Kyle); Kelly & Karly Sims and 3 great-grandchildren Katie Keeling, Jackson Thompson and Rylie Horn. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, Linden Chapel from 4 until 8 PM Tuesday. Private family services Wednesday, with entombment in Oak Hill Mausoleum, Crawfordsville, Rev. Dr. R.
