Jeffrey Lynn Hicks, 52, of Lafayette, died Sunday afternoon May 25, 2008 at his residence of an apparent heart attack. Born at Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Oklahoma, June 10, 1955, the son of Harold H. and Doris A. Davis Hicks, he had resided in the Lafayette area since 1967. He was a graduate of Harrison High School in 1973, and was a self employed contractor. Surviving beside his parents who reside in West Lafayette is a brother, Jay D. Hicks of West Lafayette and a sister, Wendy Allen-Darling of Lafayette. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St. from 5 until 7 P.M. Friday. Funeral services at HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME 10:30 A.M. Saturday, Pastor Chuck Grant officiating, with interment to follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are 2 nieces, Anna Ross and Paula Chapman; a nephew Jayson Hicks; 2 great-nieces, Ahlexa and Ava Ross.
