Jeanne Hunsberger

Jeanne B. Hunsberger, 86, of Lafayette, died at Lafayette Home Hospital 6:04 Am Saturday November 14, 2009. Born March 16, 1923 in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of the late Marion and Emma Fetter Besanceney, she had resided in Lafayette since 1950. She married Dr. W. Glenn Hunsberger in 1943, and he preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Hunsberger was a graduate of Newark, Ohio High School, University of Miami, Ohio, and Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Surviving is a daughter, Cathy Hunsberger Neff of Lafayette, IN.; and a son Girard "Jerry" Hunsberger (wife Wendy) of Littleton, CO. Also surviving are 6 grandsons, Brian, Scott, Andrew & Patrick Neff, and Byron and Will Hunsberger. Preceded in death by 2 sons, Terry Hunsberger in 1989 and Michael Hunsberger in 1993. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from Noon until 1:00 P.M. Tuesday. Private family services will be held, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fr.
