Jeanette Bower

Jeanette Frances (Brouillette) Bower, 85, died on July 17, 2016. Jeanette married Joseph F. (Joe) Bower of Goodland on September 6, 1952 in Fowler, IN. Joe preceded her in death on April 10, 1999. Jeanette will be remembered for her strong faith, humility, and servant’s heart. Her true calling in life was serving her family, friends, and neighbors. She inspired many with her determination and will in all that she accomplished. Her many talents and kind heart will be fondly treasured by all who knew and loved her. Jeanette is survived by her three sons: John (AynnRae), Jim (Judy), and Jeff (Mary Duncan) Bower and her six daughters: Joan (Peach) Bower, Janice (Paul) Gootee, Julie Brown, Joyce (Rich) Smith, Jackie (Brent) Hofman, and Jennifer (Keith) Cheraso. Additionally, she leaves behind three brothers: Dave (Janet), Dick (Connie), and Bill Brouillette; and two sisters: Marge (Tom) Diener and Lois (Jerry) Ludwig, and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her Cook Biotech work family. Preceding her in death were her son-in-law, Ruskin Brown, her brothers, Joe and Jim Brouillette and sister, Pauline Mailloux. Visitation will be held Friday, July 22 at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament Church, West Lafayette from 4-7 p.m. with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 23 at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Goodland, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in memory of Jeanette Bower.
