Jean Rodd

Jean E. "Jeanne" Rodd, 81, of San Diego, California and formerly of the Pine Village area, died at her residence Tuesday February 22, 1022. She was born in Lafayette, IN. October 25, 1929, the daughter of Malcom and Shirley Martindale Anderson, and was a 1947 graduate of Pine Village High School. She married James D. "Jim" Rodd in Arizona December 28, 1968, and he survives. Mrs. Rodd attended La Joya Christian Church, Disciples of Christ and was a member of the DAR. She had worked for many years as an escrow offices for various real estate companies and had resided in the San Diego area for over 40 years. . Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Kim Williams (husband Randall) of El Cajun, CA; a son, Greg Schneider (wife Cindy) of Santee, CA; and a brother Robert Anderson of Pine Village, IN. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Gephart and a brother Richard Anderson. Graveside services will be held at the Mound Cemetery, near Pine Village at 1:00 PM Thursday, Rev. Paul Stamm officiating.
