Jane Sedam

Jane K. Sedam, 67, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Lafayette, IN passed away in Indianapolis Sunday morning May 21, 2017 with her family present at the residence of her son, Brian Sedam. She was born in Lafayette November 4, 1949, the daughter of the late Oliver Wendell and Harriett Margaret Muinzer Franklin. Jane was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Lafayette and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. For the past several years, Jane had taught at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Pre School in Indianapolis. Surviving are two sons, Brian C. Sedam (parter Chad Baughman) of Indianapolis; Brad F. Sedam (wife Stefanie) of Indianapolis; and by two brothers, John Franklin (wife Suellen) of Columbus, OH and Richard Franklin (wife Cathy) of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Kenzie and Audrey Sedam. Friends may call at St. Mary Cathedral in Lafayette from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Friday, May 26, Fr. Kyle P. Neterer officiating, with interment following in St. Mary Cemetery.
