Jacquelyne S. "Jackie" Anthrop, 79, of West Point, IN, died PM Tuesday June30, 2015 in Lafayette. Jackie was born in Chicago IL April 13, 1936, the daughter of the late Rollo and Evelyn McLearn Burnette and was graduate of Francesville, IN High School. She married Joseph Anthony Anthrop, Sr. at St. Mary Cathedral in Lafayette February 15, 1958 and he preceded her in death April 5, 2009. Jackie was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the St. Ann Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, reading, canning vegetables and watching the wildlife that came into her yard. Jackie had been employed at Greenbush Industries for a number of years and retired in 2005. Surviving is a daughter, Brinda Goans (Dennis) of West Point, IN; four sons, Mark Anthrop (Michelle), West Point, IN, Joseph A. "Tony" Anthrop, Jr. (Nancy Stevens) Frankfort, IN, David Anthrop (Connie) West Point, IN Ross Anthrop (Veronica) Lafayette, IN; a brother, William Burnette (Bunny) Chicago Ridge, IL, and a sister, Pat Roloffe, Irving TX. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Burnette and by three sisters, Lorraine Lyons, Normandie Burnette and Josephine Burnette. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. Lafayette, from 5 until 8 PM Monday, with the Rosary Service at 4:45 PM Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church 10:00 AM Tuesday, Fr. Tim Alkire officiating, with interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
