Hugh Leaming

Hugh J. Leaming, 85, of West Lafayette, died Saturday August 16, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Central Emergency Room. Mr. Leaming had resided at the Indiana Veterans Home for over 30 years. Hugh was born in Indianapolis, IN Sept. 26, 1928, the son of the late Hugh M. and Eva Waymen Leaming. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a retired Presbyterian minister. Surviving is a granddaughter, Amber Leaming of Holly, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive; a son Hugh C. Leaming and a daughter, Mary C. Leaming. A private interment will take place at the Indiana Veterans Home Cemetery. Hahn-Groeber Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for the family.
