Hattie Crowder

Hattie Virginia Crowder, 72, of Oxford, IN died at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette Sunday April 24, 2016. Hattie was born in Major, KY February 20, 1944, the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Sizemore and Dovie Sizemore. She married James Crowder in Noblesville, IN December 5, 1965, and he survives. Hattie had resided in the Oxford area the past 46 years, and had been employed at Purdue University for 18 years before her retirement. Surviving beside her husband is a son, Bradley Joseph "Joe" Crowder (wife Catherine of West Point, IN and a brother, Buddy Sizemore, Jr. of Miami, FL. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Lilly Holliday and Joshua Crowder, and by a great-grandson, Oliver Holliday. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford, IN from 12:00 PM until the service at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 28, Mr. James Ausban officiating, with the interment following at Pine Village Cemetery.
