Glen Hunter

Glen M. Hunter, 79, of Rossville, IN. died at his residence 5:07 PM Sunday May 17, 2015. He had been in ill health the past seven years. Glen was born in Orleans, IN September 8, 1935, the son of the late Frank and Dora Mae Wilson Hunter. He married Doris M. Hall in Austin, IN August 25, 1952 and she survives. Glen was a member of St. Paul Community Church in Linden, IN and retired from Quality Carriers as a truck driver and diesel mechanic. Surviving with his wife is a son, Rick L. Hunter (Barbara) of Rossville, IN, three brothers, Charles Lee Hunter (Peggy) of Alpine, AL, Dean Hunter of Otterbein, IN, Don Hunter (Janice) of West Point, IN; two sisters, Carol Ann Williams of Scottsburg, IN, Geraldine Barrett of Somerset, KY; a special friend Carolyn Dubes and her children, Debbie, Lisa, Sherrie and Ernie; his former daughter-in-law, Roberta Hunter; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda M. Creighton; four brothers, Bobby, Jim, Carl and Bud; and by three sisters, Juanita, Beatrice and Maxine. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home in Linden 2:00 PM Saturday, Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating.
