Frank Tymoski, 86, of West Lafayette, died at Clinton House Helath and Rehabilitation Center in Frankfort, IN. 1:35 PM Tuesday February 5, 2013 where he had been a patient the past two weeks.
Frank was born in Sayre, PA. May 16, 1926, the son of the late Frank and Tekla Fedchak Tymoski. He was a graduate of Sayre, PA. High School, and received his B.S. Degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He had worked as a purchasing agent at Purdue University, and retired from Purdue. During World War II, Frank served in the U.S. Navy.
He married Patsy Ruth Leevy at Monticello, IN. September 4, 1954 and she preceded him in death November 21, 1997.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Tymoski of New York, NY.; Anita Kastens of Corona, CA.; a brother Joseph Tymoski (wife Helen) of Springfield, OH. and by a special friend, Phyllis Greene of Lafayette. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Brittany, ALegra and Trey. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Tymoski and by 4 brothers, Michael, John, George and Peter Tymoski.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 5 until 7 PM Friday. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home 10:30 AM Saturday, Fr. Dan Gartland officiating, with entombment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with military rites.
