Ella Webb

Ella “Louise” Webb 92, of Lafayette passed away at her home surrounded by family in the early morning hours of December 2nd, 2018. Born on February 23rd, 1926 to Mary Ellen Parker and Oren McKinley “Mac” Sanders, also of Lafayette. Louise was the 4th of 8 children. Florence Marie, Ralph Eugene, Sarah Pauline, Phyllis Irene, Wilma Jeanette, Mary Joan, Thomas Francis. Louise was the devoted wife of John E. Webb and they married on October 12th, 1946 in Lafayette. She was a loving mother to 3 boys John “David”, Daniel Wayne and Joseph Kenneth Webb. Louise was also a loving Grandmother to 2 Grandsons, 6 Granddaughters and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Louise was a devoted Wife, Mother and Homemaker while also serving as Secretary Treasurer of her Husband’s general contracting business John E. Webb Incorporated. She was a devoted member of the former Hope Chapel Church of Lafayette and was very active as a class mother for all of her sons when they were in school. Louise is preceded in death by her husband John and son John “David” Webb, her parents; Mac & Marie Sanders, brother Ralph Eugene and four of her sisters; Florence Marie, Sarah Pauline, Phyllis Irene, and Wilma Jeanette. Surviving are her two sons Daniel Webb, (wife Elizabeth) of Pelzer South Carolina, Joe Ken Webb (wife Ottlie) of Covington IN, grandson and caregiver Martin R. Webb (wife Kim) of Lafayette and 7 other Grandchildren; Holly, Mindy, Harmony, Andy, Mary, Abigail, and Madison, and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St from 1:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM Thursday December 6, with her son, Daniel Webb officiating.
