Eileen Irvin

Eileen J. Irvin, 72, of Lafayette, died at Clarian-Arnett Hospital 1:55 A.M. Thursday October 1, 2009. Born in Chicago, Illinois June 11, 1937, the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Jean Cecille, she had resided in the Lafayette area since 1969 moving from Chicago. Mrs. Irvin was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School in Maryville, IL. and had worked at Lomas & Nettleton for over 20 years before her retirement. Surviving is a daughter, Nancy L. Richardson (husband Kurt) of Lafayette, IN.; a son, Raymond K. Irvin (wife Kimberly D.) of Greenwood, IN.; 4 brothers, William Cecille (wife Ann) of Albany, Georgia; James Cecille (wife Maryann) of Streamwood, IL.; Clarence A. Cecille of Lafayette, IN.; John Cecille of Williamsport, IN.; 3 sisters, Kathleen Irvin (husband Kenneth) of Lafayette, IN.; Jacqueline Kraft (husband Timothy) of Lafayette, IN.; Geri Ryan of Crawfordsville, IN.; a step brother, Robert King of Chicago, IL.; and a step-sister Barbara Ragona of Chicago, IL.; Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a son, William S. Irvin and a brother Zane Cecille. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Fr. Dan Gartland officiating.
